Course Overview
This practical course builds core skills in rigorous policy analysis and the writing of learn persuasive policy briefs that influence senior decision-makers across African governments and organizations.

How will you learn
Intensive hands-on format with African case studies, policy labs, individual writing exercises and
peer review. An expert facilitator guides every session. You will produce your own policy brief
during the course.

Day 3: Policy brief structure and writing techniques
Day 4: Visualisation, communication and stakeholder targeting
Day 5: Policy brief clinic, presentations and action planning

The course is offered as an intensive 5-day in-person workshops (Nairobi and selected African cities) and parallel 5-day live online cohorts. Custom in-house versions are available for governments, CSOs and organizations.
