Course Overview
This intensive course equips public sector professionals with the practical knowledge and tools required to design and implement effective public sector reforms, strengthen performance management and improve service delivery across African governments.
It covers the key components of effective public sector performance, including the design of performance management systems, development of meaningful KPIs and service delivery standards, results-based management, change management and civil service reform. Participants will also explore practical approaches to monitoring institutional change and using performance evidence to drive continuous improvement.
Through practical workshops, African reform case studies, simulation exercises and peer learning, participants will develop a tailored performance improvement plan that connects institutional priorities with measurable results, stronger accountability and improved service delivery.
