Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Frameworks
Course Overview
This intensive MEL frameworks course equips participants with the practical skills required to design, implement and manage robust Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks for development programmes and public policy.
Participants explore the full MEL cycle, from developing Theories of Change and results chains to selecting appropriate indicators, collecting and analysing data, applying findings for adaptive management, and communicating results effectively to decision-makers.
Through African case studies, practical exercises and hands-on MEL framework development, participants learn how to create systems that strengthen accountability, support continuous learning, and enable evidence-based policy and programme improvement.
